Blackheath were defeated by a single point for the second consecutive week as they lost 17-16 thanks to a late converted try in their National One game at Coventry.
Ralph Smith scored Blackheath's only try in their third successive defeat but the club remain fourth in the table.
In National Two South Canterbury lost a close game 12-11 to Lydney despite not conceding a try.
Westcombe Park suffered a hefty 38-5 defeat at Southend.
