Worcester Warriors 33-13 Plymouth

Rugby union

Worcester Warriors ran in four second-half tries to come from behind and defeat Plymouth Albion.

The hosts took a 9-3 lead into the half-time break after a dour first period, but it took a Tom Kessell try for Albion to ignite the game.

Pat Sanderson's second try in as many games put the hosts back in front before Mark Lee's penalty cut the deficit to a single point.

But scores from Tom Arscott and Marcel Garvey ended Albion's resistance.

Prop Oliver Tomaszczyk then drove over the line to secure Worcester a bonus point with his first try for the club.

Worcester head coach Richard Hill told BBC Hereford & Worcester:
"The coaches are going to have to look at how on earth we can start better.

"We tend to be better away from home for some reason. The number of times we play here and the first 20 minutes belongs to the opposition is ludicrous.

"We have got to look at ourselves as coaches. We don't start playing until we are angry."

Plymouth Albion chairman or rugby Graham Dawe told BBC Radio Devon:
"The boys put in a huge amount of effort and really tested the Warriors defence.

"We still made some errors, but we got away with them really and I didn't think the Warriors really had the appetite to chase back on some of our kicks.

"Like any team of this strength they'll have a strong bench and our bench was very experienced."
