Jeff Goulding's goal gave Cheltenham a share of the spoils in their derby clash with Hereford.
Frenchman Mathieu Manset put the Bulls ahead with a header in first-half stoppage time.
But Goulding equalised when he turned Brian Smikle's cross into the net from eight yards.
Both sides had chances to win the game, Marlon Pack shooting over for Cheltenham while Robins keeper Scott Brown did well to deny Joe Colbeck.
Hereford manager Jamie Pitman told BBC Hereford and Worcester: "I thought Nicky Featherstone was probably the man of the match for me as he kept the ball very well.
"I said to the rest of them at the end if they wanted to look at some energy and commitment at the end he was still running forward and going past people.
"Fair play to him I thought he was excellent today."
Cheltenham Town boss Mark Yates tells BBC Radio Gloucestershire: "I'm disappointed we didn't get three points today because I thought we were the better team, we just didn't find the killer touch.
"We gave ourselves a mountain to climb in the second half, I was disappointed that the back four weren't together and found themselves underneath the ball just before Hereford's goal in the 47th minute.
"We passed them to death, but it just shows how far we've come that I'm disappointed that we're not gone on and won the game."
