Kalamafoni has not played for Nottingham for five weeks

Nottingham director of rugby Glenn Delaney expects Sione Kalamafoni to make a big impact when he returns to face Cornish Pirates on Sunday.

The Tongan forward has been banned for five weeks for reckless use of the leg against Rotherham's Jonny Hepworth in the league match in September.

Delaney said: "Sione had a great impact and settled into the side and English rugby so quickly.

"I've very little doubt he will return as the fantastic player he came."

Delaney added: "His power to weight ratio is unbelievably good and having him running with the ball gives us a massive advantage in many games."
