Worcester Warriors set for hard week - Richard Hill

Worcester Warriors coach Richard Hill says his side are in for a tough week following Friday's lacklustre win against Nottingham in the Championship.

Hill was angry after his side managed to hang on to win 35-28 and has hinted at yet more changes for Sunday's game at in-form London Welsh.

"I'll look at selection carefully," Hill told BBC Hereford & Worcester.

"We have got to put some work in. I've put up with what I have seen so far but we've got to see a drastic turnaround."

Hill continued: "At the moment we are getting the same faults occurring time and time again. I've been relaxed with it because you learn from your faults at some stage. But at the moment we are seeing the same errors put together.

We have got make sure our training performances are transferred onto the field very, very quickly

Hill says he is further frustrated as the players are not putting what they do in training into practice when it comes to games.

"We are training well in the week and what we are seeing is not the end product. That's because we are making such uncharacteristic errors.

"We have a player running wide who throws a miss pass to our tight-head prop on the touchline. What is that about?

"That is nonsense and watching it you think this is not Worcester Warriors, this is not what I see in the week in training.

"We have got make sure our training performances are transferred onto the field very, very quickly. We are almost halfway through this league now.

"Yes, we are top, but we know if Nottingham's kicker (Dave Jackson) had made kicks it would have been different."

Former Warriors skipper Pat Sanderson makes his playing comeback as the Warriors A face Leeds Carnegie in the A League at Sixways.

Sanderson has been out of action with a shoulder injury since the clash with Moseley at the start of October.

Hooker Chris Fortey will once again captain the team and pack down with Adam Black and Oliver Tomaszczyk.

Oriol Ripol moves back to the wing, while Andy Short and Greg King are paired in midfield.
