Mitchell was thrilled with the 32-23 win at Rosslyn Park |
Stourbridge director of rugby Neil Mitchell wants his squad to maintain their focus for the home game against National One strugglers Redruth. The Saxons return to Stourton Park buoyed by an away win at Rosslyn Park, but Mitchell is urging caution. "It happened to Rosslyn Park after their win at Tynedale - they put in a good first half performance against us then got complacent," Mitchell noted. "You can't come off a win and expect the same thing to happen next week." Wing Matt Williams is in line to return to the Saxons line-up for the visit of Redruth on Saturday after recovering from a shoulder injury. | Redruth are at the wrong end of the table, but we cannot take them lightly |
Luke Cozens' performance off the bench at Rosslyn Park has him in contention to take over at fly-half from Cameron Brown. "Redruth are at the wrong end of the league, but we cannot take them lightly," Mitchell emphasized. "We know that another two five-point wins will put us where we need to be in the table." Former Worcester Warriors skipper Pat Sanderson is expected as a guest at Stourton Park reinforcing the two clubs' close working relationship.
