Luctonians bring in three Stourbridge players on loan
Green-Price is looking to build on Lucs' promising start to the season
National Two North club Luctonians have completed the signings of three players on loan from Stourbridge.
Prop Richard Jones, scrum half Lucas Smith and flanker Nathan Smith have agreed short-term moves.
"Stourbridge have players who want to play at a higher level but who are not yet good enough for their first team," said general manager Simon Green-Price.
"With us being the next best-placed team in the West Midlands there is an opportunity to run them at Luctonians."
Lucs have won two of their opening three matches since promotion - beating Nuneaton 23-13 last time out at Mortimer Park.
Green-Price said the team had had to adapt quickly to playing at a higher level.
"They say in this league it is all about keeping the ball - the best sides keep the ball and the problem is getting it off them," he told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"That is what is so good about getting [director of rugby] Alex [Davidson] involved.
"He has been a professional for nine years within that kind of environment at a higher level."
But Green-Price admitted the National Two North fixture list had been kind to them so far.
"We've got Rugby Lions away this week and they're a side that has been in trouble this year as they didn't have a squad two weeks before the start of the season," he said.
"We really could do with a win there and then we start getting into the bigger boys.
"The more consistent teams are those such as Hull and Westoe and clubs like that."
