Green-Price feels Lucs have to win their home games to survive
Luctonians will look to build on their win over Manchester when they host Nuneaton on Saturday.
The Herefordshire club scored an emphatic 45-6 win last weekend.
General manager Simon Green-Price said: "They haven't won for a long time and it wouldn't have been good to be the first side to lose to them.
"But in fairness to our boys we put 45 points on them and it should have been more but we tried to overcomplicate things," added.
Lucs are expecting a far tougher test against Nuneaton in their next National League Two North game.
"We definitely want Nuneaton's scalp as it is a home game and I think this league is all about winning your home games and doing what you can way," he said.
"Nuneaton played Leicester Lions last week and took a bit of a battering up front apparently, but they have some good backs.
"Our forwards will match anyone so far and in the set piece they showed Leicester Lions what to do so we would like to think we can take them on up front, starve their backs of ball and get in amongst them."
Luctonians against Nuneaton will kick off at 3.00pm on Saturday 18 September and there will be updates on the game into Sport on Saturday on BBC Hereford and Worcester.
