Sussex have put in a 28-day notice of approach to Worcestershire's big-hitting fast bowler Gareth Andrew. The 26-year-old is in the final year of his contract at New Road, but it is believed he has only been offered a new one-year deal at the club. Andrew has turned in some big knocks with the bat this season, hitting his maiden century in the CB 40 win against Surrey at The Oval in early September. Sussex have already signed Amjad Khan from Kent on a three-year contract.
