Guernsey lost for the first time in the 2010/11 season, slipping to an agonising one point defeat at Tottonians in London 2 South West. Guernsey captain Blair Campbell said the 27-26 result was a a tough one to accept: "It was really one that got away, it was one we should have won. "In the last few minutes we mentally switched off and they came back and won in the last second." The result puts Tottonians top of the table, while Guernsey drop to third. Campbell added: "You can't take anything away from Tottonians, they're a good side and they will be one of the teams pushing for promotion." Tries from Nick Barton and Jason Batiste and two from Darren Bellingham earned the Sarnians a bonus point. They also picked up another for finishing within seven points of their opponents, so are equal on points with second-placed Guildford and only one adrift of Tottonians.
