Priaulx has won the FIA World Championship three times |
Guernsey racing driver Andy Priaulx is delighted to have been partnered with Craig Lowndes in the Armor All Gold Coast 600. Priaulx has been selected to race alongside triple V8 Supercar champion Lowndes at the prestigious event in Australia at the end of October. The Sarnian said: "Craig is my dream team-mate for this event. "I know from previous races in the V8s it is great to be teamed with someone who has experience - which Craig has." Priaulx added: "There is nothing he hasn't won in Australia, and I am a bit envious he has been on the top step of the podium at the Bathurst 1000 no less than four times." The Armor All Gold Coast 600, which will be held in Australia between 22-24 October, is one of only three 600km endurance races in the V8 Championship. Priaulx is one of 17 guest drivers who will join the competing teams for the race, with each having to drive at least 30% of the overall distance.
