Richard Hill assesses Worcester Warriors situation
Richard Hill guided Bristol into the Premiership
New Worcester head coach Richard Hill says he is assessing what needs to be done to win the Warriors promotion back to the Premiership.
Hill says he has spoken to a lot of people at the club since his appointment to succeed Mike Ruddock.
"It has been very interesting," he told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"I have spoken to everyone from the chairman Cecil Duckworth, the captain Pat Sanderson down to Chris Derrick the kit man."
He added: "For me it's getting an understanding of what has gone on, what has worked and what hasn't worked.
"And people's views on what they would like changing, so it's been a massive information gathering week and a half.
"It has been a fascinating insight into life at Worcester Rugby Club, and for me now, for the next week or so, I have to work out exactly what I am going to do to change things, to hopefully improve things.
"I have just been listening, and now I have to work out what is best for Worcester Rugby Club in a whole host of areas."
Hill says he is still looking to bring in two more players, hopefully in the next few days.
"I am looking for a first-team squad of 33, so I want to bring one man in the front row, and a three-quarter or utility back.
"It is a very good squad and I am delighted most of the players have stayed and we have added a few to it.
"I will have a look at the players and work out a game plan to suit them, I need to get to know them first and then I'll decide how we are going to play.
"But when I have decided that it'll be hard work to make sure we are spot on for 28 August."
