Danny Thomas made 141 appearances for Plymouth Albion |
Plymouth Albion flanker Danny Thomas is leaving the club to take up the post of player-coach at Barnstaple. The move is a return home for the 34-year-old who started his playing career with Barnstaple as a teenager. Thomas spent 10 seasons at Albion and enjoyed spells as captain, but only made two appearances for Graham Dawe's men last term. Thomas will take over the reins at Barnstaple from Kevin Squire who stood down as director of rugby in April. Barnstaple finished last season 11th in National League Three South West.
