Bedford will face Exeter Chiefs in the play-off semi-finals after beating Plymouth Albion at home on Saturday. Albion were on top in the first period, with a Sione Tu'apulotu try and four Alex Davies penalties giving them a 19-13 lead at the half-time. But Bedford wrestled back control after the break with tries from Ollie Dodge, Sacha Harding and Duncan Taylor. Albion failed to respond and Bedford held firm to take the win, ensuring they finished second in Pool A. Myles Dorrian kicked two penalties and a conversion for the home side, while Brad Davies hit a penalty and two conversions. Bedford will now travel to Sandy Park next Saturday, to take on Exeter Chiefs for a place in the final of the Championship play-offs. Albion end the season bottom of Pool A, having won just one of their six play-off matches.
