Plymouth Albion lock Tyler Hotson handed three-week ban

Plymouth Albion

Plymouth Albion lock Tyler Hotson has been given a three-week suspension for violent conduct during last month's 17-0 defeat by Cornish Pirates.

Hotson was yellow carded and subsequently cited by the Pirates for striking flanker Laurie McGlone.

Hotson's ban ends on 11 May, meaning he will only miss one game, Albion's away trip to Bedford on 1 May.

On Friday, Albion won the sides' play-off clash 19-14, ending the Pirates hopes of a semi-final place.
