Twickenham dream for Hammett
Cirencester will be hoping to secure an appearance at Twickenham by winning their Senior Vase game against Brighton Blues on Saturday.
The Gloucestershire side face Blues in the semi-final just a week after winning promotion in the league system.
"For us to get this far is a monumental achievement", said Cirencester coach Dean Hammett.
"I would never have believed it at the start of the season. It's a huge game for the boys."
He added: "They may never get another chance at this level to play at the national stadium."
The tie - against a side that won the Junior Vase last season and have gone through the whole of this season unbeaten - will be Cirencester's first at home in the competition. So far they have progressed through all seven rounds from away draws.
Chairman Rob Lister added : "Days like this are a dream for a club at our level and we hope to do the occasion justice. We want everyone connected with the club past and present to support us and contribute to a memorable day."
Saturday's match ball will be parachuted in shortly before kick-off by the Silver Stars based at local 29th Regiment, which has close ties with the club.
