Redruth have announced the appointment of former charity co-ordinator Gerry Reilly as their new general manager. Reilly, who previously worked on the Handstand meningitis campaign, has been brought in to help the cash-strapped Reds manage their finances. Red's secretary Roger Watson said: "It is no secret that the club is under considerable financial pressure. "Gerry's expertise in sales, marketing and operational management will bring financial stability to the club." Redruth have been frank in admitting their financial problems throughout the current season, revealing that the players were handed a wage cut in November.
