Jonny Bentley's chip and chase set up the second Pirates try

Cornish Pirates have reached the semi-finals of the British and Irish Cup following a gutsy home performance against Newport.

Pirates opened the scoring with two Rob Cook penalties, which he then followed up with a try.

Newport responded through Mike Poole, making it 11-8 at the break.

Second-half tries from Nick Jackson and Blair Cowan secured the win for the Pirates, despite a late push from the Welsh visitors.
