Plymouth Argyle Ladies' outside hopes of promotion have been dashed after they were beaten 2-0 by Chesham United at Bolitho Park.
A Kate Bowers goal either side of half-time was enough to give Chesham all three points and see them move second in the SW Combination Women's League.
Plymouth are now fifth in the league with 23 points from 13 matches, whilst Chesham have 27 points from 11 games.
Plymouth Ladies are next in action on 14 March at Havant & Waterlooville.
