Leinster confirmed their position at the top of Pool A in the British & Irish Cup with an assured victory over Exeter Chiefs. In the first half both Sam Blythe and Sean Marsden scored for Chiefs, but two tries from Dave Kearney gave the visitors a 12-10 lead at the break. Leinster then extended their advantage with a converted try from Paul O'Donohoe and a Shaun Berne drop goal. The win means Leinster are now on 12 points after three games in Pool A. Exeter are fourth in Pool A, with five points from their three games.
