Redruth suffered a disappointing home defeat by Wharfedale at the Rec on Saturday in National One. Wharfedale outscored their hosts by five tries to one with Luke Gray, Iain Dixon, James Tincknell (2) and Latu Makaafi all going over. Mark Bedworth added three conversions for the visitors, with Joseph Graham kicking a drop-goal. Redruth's points came from a Mark Bright try, with a penalty, drop-goal and conversion from Aaron Penberthy.
