Bristol moved nine points clear at the top of the Championship after easing to victory over the Cornish Pirates.

Two first half tries from Dan Norton and one apiece from Tom Arscott and Lee Robinson were enough for the hosts to earn a bonus point before the break.

The Pirates' tries from Gavin Cattle and Rob Cook came at either end of a match they never looked likely to win.

James Phillips scored Bristol's other try to wrap up their eighth straight Championship victory.
