Bristol secured their fourth consecutive bonus-point victory as they ran in four tries against bottom side Birmingham & Solihull. Bristol led 21-0 at half-time as centre Junior Fatialofa, scrum-half Robbie Shaw and hooker Ross Johnston touched down to be converted by Adrian Jarvis. The second half was less inspiring affair with just a converted penalty try added to the scoreline. Second-place Bristol are now just five points behind league leaders Exeter. "It was a frustrating game as we wanted to play our game plan but teams come here to try and stop us playing and that was obvious today," head coach Paul Hull told BBC Radio Bristol. "They really tried to slow our ball up and there were times when they infringed at the breakdown. "You hope that's going to be refereed but unfortunately that was a grey area today and obviously we'll speak to the officials to find out what their interpretation of that was."
