A late missed conversion cost Diss two points at Mackenders as they lost 22-21 to Havant in National League Three. With eight minutes remaining debutant winger Roco Rocotovitovi touched down near the posts, but Seb Goodge missed the crucial conversion. North Walsham enjoyed a comfortable win at Scottow, beating Tring 22-0. The win puts Walsham five points clear of their local rivals - both sides are away next week before the local derby in the final match before Christmas. Diss captain Deaglan Hall said: "We're obviously disheartened, another tight game, another bonus point. Having had two promotions in two seasons I feel that we're competing in the league. "It's been a problem this year with converting our chances into points, but we have improved, and we're going to keep improving, the team's only going to get better."
