Vagabonds lead RFUW National Challenge North One by four points

Vagabonds Ladies earned a 'walkover' win after Ormskirk failed to field a team for Saturday's National Challenge North One fixture.

Vagabonds coach Darrin Cook said: "It is very disappointing at this level.

"Ormskirk were obliged to let us know by Wednesday but we received a call on the morning of the game. It's not on."

Vagabonds, whose next game is against Eccles Ladies at Glencrutchery Road on 31 October, are now four points clear of Leodensians II at the top.
