Jersey secured second place in National League Three after a 16-13 away win over Old Albanians on Saturday. Jersey's points came from two tries by second row Jim Brownrigg as well as penalties to Michael Le Bourgeois and Tom Turner. Coach Ben Harvey said:"It was pretty ugly at times they were strong and tough opponents. "We didn't play particularly well, so to grind out a win here was massive." The Islanders now have 20 points, equal with top-of-the-table Dorking. Jersey's next match is at home to second bottom Haywards Heath. In Jersey's two home matches this season they have scored 112 points and only conceded five. "I've said it before, I want St Peter to be a fortress, somewhere that is hard for other teams to come and play at," Harvey added.
