Justin Mensah-Coker may not be ready for the opener against Exeter

Exeter Chiefs scored four tries in the first 20 minutes at Billesley Common to give themselves a perfect start to the new Championship season.

There were three further tries for the Chiefs before the end, with Matt Jess, Mark Foster and Neil Clark all going over after the break.

When the game was firmly out of reach, Moseley's Nathan Bressington scored two tries and Andy Williams also went over.

Gareth Steenson kicked six conversions and a penalty for Exeter.
