Miller picks up cheekbone injury

Exeter Chiefs

Exeter Chiefs club captain Alan Miller has suffered an injury setback, which will see him out of action for at least eight weeks.

The 27-year-old flanker fractured his cheekbone during a practice session against Launceston last week.

Devon-born Miller made his first-team debut for the Chiefs against Worcester, in October 2003.

The Chiefs begin their pre-season campaign campaign at home to Sale Sharks on Saturday.
