Southampton have completed the signing of Preston defender Neal Trotman on a season-long loan.
The 22-year-old, who has played just a handful of games for Preston since signing last year, is available for Saturday's match against Brentford.
Trotman started his career at Oldham and has had loan spells at Halifax and Colchester.
The centre-back joins new signings Rickie Lambert, Graeme Murty and Dean Hammond at St Mary's.
