Mounts Bay's future to be decided

Mounts Bay RFC

A final decision on the future of Mounts Bay will be made on Thursday evening at the club's AGM.

Mounts Bay's chairman Arthur Edwards has told BBC Radio Cornwall that the recommendation is for the club to fold.

On 13 July, Mounts Bay agreed a provisional player and ground sharing deal with Redruth RFC, but this is thought to have been unsuccessful.

The deal between the two clubs was subject to a strict criteria laid out by the RFU.

Mounts Bay's AGM gets underway at the Bath Inn in Penzance from 1930 BST on 23 July.
