Gloucestershire will contest the Bill Beaumont Cup final against Lancashire after seeing off Cornwall 34-19. Jake Carter crossed for three tries with Jonny May adding a fourth and Mark Woodrow kicking well from fly-half. The hosts recovered from the setback of having Royce Cadman sin-binned early on and trailed 14-10 after Sean Hawkey and Luke Collins touched down for Cornwall. But Carter scored his second just before the break to secure a 17-14 lead Gloucestershire did not relinquish. Cornwall snatched a consolation try through Williem Dirksen, but were unable to close the gap and deny Gloucestershire a first county final appearance since 2004.
