Key (l) and head coach Neil Back have brought two new players in so far |
Premiership newcomers Leeds Carnegie aim to sign two more players by the end of the week, report BBC Radio Leeds. Leeds captured Bristol's Alfie Too'ala on Tuesday and players from the Southern Hemisphere's Super 14 and France's Top 14 could arrive shortly. "Come the end of this week we hope to be able to announce another two signings," Key BBC told Radio Leeds. "These two come with huge experience, this time from Super 14 and the French 14 league." "We are just in the throws of dotting the i's and crossing the t's with them at the moment, so we are very encouraged by that." Meanwhile the West Yorkshire club hope to bring Tim Davidson back to Headingley for next season. The flanker moved to Leeds from Australia in February on a deal until the end of the season and has now returned home. Key explained: "Tim has gone back home to Australia for a short break, it was always agreed that would happen. "That's the best for him because he had to come over here at very short notice to help us while Hendre Fourie was out injured. "While he was here he put a very stronger marker down. "We are now just in the throws of working with Tim and hopefully in the coming weeks we'll have some positive news to announce in that area."
