National One side Exeter Chiefs have confirmed that two of their players have committed to the club for the forthcoming 2009/10 season. Scrum-half Clive Stuart-Smith and fly-half Danny Gray have both chosen to stay with the Chiefs despite the club missing out on promotion this year. The Chiefs last remaining hopes of making the Premiership ended when they lost 35-21 to Rotherham Titans. On Tuesday, scrum-half Kevin Barrett signed to Premiership side Saracens. Rowe said: "These players joined us at the same time and have been excellent servants to this club. "We are delighted that they will be with us next season as we continue to push for our promotion dream." Flanker Tom Johnson is also staying with the club as he has another year remaining on his contract.
