Beaten Moseley stay in drop zone

Rugby Union

Moseley had to settle for only one bonus point from their narrow 26-23 defeat by Bedford in National One.

They took the lead three times and were 20-14 ahead at half-time after tries by Nathan Bressington and James Rodwell.

"I am pleased with the bonus point but the fact is that it could have been a lot more," said Moseley's head coach Ian Smith.

"In the second half we didn't show enough accuracy and didn't gain enough territory to put them under pressure."

Moseley remain 12th in National One, four points away from safety but with two games in hand on their rivals Esher.
