Mounts Bay look to local players

Mounts Bay RFC

Mounts Bay are hoping to sign some Cornish-based players in time for their next home game to ease their problems in the front row.

The financially-troubled side have been forced to postpone their trip to Southend this Saturday, as they do not have enough fit forwards.

"We're currently talking to local players," club secretary Dennis Axford told BBC Cornwall.

"We're hoping that things will be okay for our home game with Cinderford."

Axford said the club are aiming to play the match at Southend at the end of the season.
