Delaney's side have lost two games in two years at home
Nottingham director of rugby Glenn Delaney is looking for flaws in high-flying Leeds ahead of Sunday's EDF National Trophy semi-final.
The Green and Whites take on the League One leaders, who have lose their last two games, at Meadow Lane (1500 GMT).
Delaney told BBC Radio Nottingham: "A team completing games as efficiently as them you start looking for a chink.
"We'll look to put a game plan together that will give us every opportunity in the areas Leeds are struggling in."
Delaney is confident that home advantage can help, Nottingham having only lost two home games in two years.
"We've got a fantastic opportunity to put a lot of things right and go forward and win this game," he said.
"We had these guys here in December and outscored them two tries to one but still lost the game because of penalties, so we know we can be in the shake-up.
"Whilst they may be leading the league, they've dropped a couple of games in the past two weeks. They'll be looking to put that right but it opens up a great opportunity for us."
Leeds, who have beaten Nottingham twice this season, are five points ahead of Exeter at the top of National League One.
But Exeter have the chance to narrow the gap on Leeds in their National Trophy semi against Moseley which has been deemed a double header and will also count for league points.
This year's National Trophy final is at Twickenham on Saturday 18 April (1200 GMT).
