Myles Weston's strike earned Notts County a first away win of the year.

Visiting keeper Kevin Pilkington denied Jeff Goulding and Anton Robinson early on while Brett Pitman clipped the bar.

Weston turned sharply onto a Delroy Facey pass to fire the Magpies ahead from 10 yards but Jamie Forrester saw a penalty saved by Shawn Jalal.

Pilkington kept out Shaun Cooper's last-gasp 25-yard strike to leave the Cherries nervously looking over their shoulders at the relegation zone.
