Mounts Bay's slim hopes of staying in National Two suffered a blow with a nine-try defeat against Blackheath. Sam Smith and Danny Caprice both went in twice as Blackheath ran in a series of soft tries. There were further scores for Dave Allen, Steve Hamilton, Liam Wordley, Gareth Jones and Matt Vaughan. Bay crossed the line via Dan Hawkes, Greg Goodfellow and Ben Hilton to provide some consolation as they look more and more doomed to relegation. With six games left, Bay are in 14th, 12 points adrift of safety.
