Guernsey's new rugby development officer Geraint Cooper hopes to get more youngsters involved in the game. He says he is impressed with the numbers of adults who train and watch the island's first XV, but thinks more needs to be done with young people. "We're trying to get into the schools and getting kids at a younger age interested in the sport," Cooper told BBC Guernsey. He has been employed by the newly-formed Guernsey Rugby Association. He will also work towards integrating the various clubs within the Bailiwick.
