Jones celebrates as Rob Elloway goes over for the Pirates |
Cornish Pirates fly-half Rhys Jones was happy with their 55-13 win over Otley, despite his sides "scrappy" performance on Saturday. Jones scored a try and kicked seven conversions and two penalties in the win at Camborne. But despite the impressive scoreline he felt the Pirates could have done better before the break. "The first half was a bit scrappy, we didn't get through the patterns of play that we'd like," he said. "We spoke about it at half time and came out firing in the second half. Luckily things came together and I am happy that I had my kicking boots on," Jones told BBC Radio Cornwall.
