Stour's Ben Hughes scores their opening try against Redruth |
Stourbridge failed to capitalise on a good first half display as National Two leaders Redruth maintained their unbeaten away record with a 26-15 win. Despite falling behind to a try after six minutes, Stour responded in fine style to score twice through Ben Hughes and Olly Grove to take the lead. But Redruth hit back to level at 12-12 at half time before taking control. They scored what turned out to be the decisive try moments after Stour had one ruled out to seal victory. The result leaves Stourbridge in ninth position in the table at the half-way point of the season.
