Drewett is happy to keep the pressure on leaders Leeds

Exeter Chiefs director of rugby Pete Drewett was pleased at the way his side performed in their 37-20 win at Newbury on Saturday.

The win saw the Chiefs go top of National League One for just over a day before Leeds regained their lead with a 25-23 win at the Cornish Pirates.

"I'm really pleased with the players to get 37 points and to get the win," Drewett said.

"Another bonus point means we can stay there and keep chasing Leeds."

Exeter are now just three points off Leeds as they look to try and gain promotion back to the Premiership.
