Paul Tisdale felt both teams were "a little ill-disciplined" towards the end

Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale says the last 30 minutes of his side's 1-0 defeat at Aldershot Town was "a mess".

Rob Edwards and Matt Taylor were both booked towards the end of the game while Aldershot's Danny Hylton was sent off as tempers frayed.

"It's very hard for me to quantify what I think because the last half hour was a mess," Tisdale told BBC Radio Devon.

"Both teams were a little ill-disciplined and the referee could have controlled it better."

"I think we had the better of the first half and you could say they had the better of the second half," Tisdale added.
