Key selects from fully-fit squad

Leeds Carnegie director of rugby Andy Key has a fully-fit squad to select from for their Yorkshire derby with Doncaster Knights on Saturday.

Leeds are benefiting from using a squad rotation policy throughout the season so far.

"We go into a game period now which we recognise as a very important time," Key told BBC Radio Leeds.

"Selection will reflect that. We'll pick the players who we feel have shown what they are capable of doing."

Leeds' management duo of Key and head coach Neil Back have a selection headache over the fly-half berth.

Jason Strange made a successful come back from injury in the win over Esher and will be fighting it out with in form Alberto Di Bernado for the number 10 shirt.

"It important to have competition at fly-half and at every position on the field.

"Our aim by the end of the season is to have two, if not three players, in each position that have the ability to step up and play.

"We are in a nice position in terms of selecting from in-form players.

"It's difficult in selection currently with some many players doing well.

"There will be some disappointed players around who don't get picked, but they are being disappointed for the right reasons," key added.

BBC Radio Leeds will have reports of Leeds Carnegie v Doncaster Knights on 103.9 FM on Saturday from 1400 GMT.
