The big South West showdown saw Exeter Chiefs beat Cornish Pirates in front of 4,913 fans at Camborne.

Each side scored two tries, but Chiefs fly-half Gareth Steenson kicked 22 of his side's points on his return to the Recreation Ground.

Exeter were leading 22-3 at half-time, but two Iva Motusaga tries nudged the Pirates in front.

But wing Josh Drauniniu scored the vital try from the Chiefs' only second-half visit into Pirates territory.
