Tavistock moved up to fifth in the South West Peninsula League after a 1-0 win at home to last season's runners-up Saltash United.

Dave Hallett got the only goal of the game early in the first half to secure three points for the Lambs.

The results moves Tavistock up from ninth to fifth in the table and is their fourth consecutive win.

They are five points behind the leaders, Buckland Athletic, but have three games in hand.

Saltash drop a place to seventh in the table.
