Launceston hoped to play Bedford when he was not selected by Exeter

Launceston joint head coach Jon Hill has confirmed that Tom Bedford and Ben Moon have returned to parent club Exeter Chiefs for the immediate future.

The pair had been training at Polson Bridge and with the Chiefs, but found the schedule punishing. So a decision has been made to put the loan on hold.

The Cornish All Blacks are also still without Steve Perry and Josh Lord for Saturday's friendly with Exmouth.

Both picked up injuries playing in the County Championship games.
