Mounts Bay have signed 21-year-old fly-half Dan Hawkes from south west rivals Plymouth Albion. Hawkes made just two substitute appearances for Albion last season. But he played a big role in Devon's County Championship campaign and was their top points scorer as they made it all the way to the final. He replaces former Wales international Lee Jarvis who has moved back to his homeland to take up a player-coach role with Cardiff Blues. "He's got some large boots to step into from Lee Jarvis," said Mounts Bay president Michael Leah. "I don't think we've seen the real Dan Hawkes yet."
