Scotland have received a boost ahead of their tour to Argentina with the news that lock Al Kellock is fit to travel.
The Glasgow Warriors captain has recovered from knee surgery and joins Frank Hadden's squad for the double-header against the Pumas.
Fellow lock Craig Hamilton will also fly out on Saturday but coach Hadden is unsure whether he will play.
"I'm delighted with the contribution Al and Craig have made this week. Both are fit and raring to go," said Hadden.
Scott Murray will fly out to Argentina if his French club team Montauban can beat Clermont Auvergne to secure a top-seven finish and a Heineken Cup place.
Hamilton, 28, was last capped against New Zealand three years ago and joins uncapped New Zealand-born lock Matt Mustchin in the squad.
"Depending on the results from France at the weekend, Craig will either stay with us in the national squad or join up with the Scotland A squad in Canada for the Churchill Cup," said Hadden.
"He has has been the consummate professional in this situation and I thank him for his first-class response."
Scotland play the Pumas at Rosario's Estadio Gigante de Arroyito on 7 June, before the sides meet again in Buenos Aires one week later.
