Glasgow Warriors head coach Sean Lineen and Edinburgh boss Andy Robinson are to assist Frank Hadden on Scotland's summer tour of Argentina.

George Graham and Alan Tait are the backroom staff to make way, but will be offered new roles with Scottish Rugby.

Hadden said: "I am very much looking forward to working closely with Sean and Andy.

"They are two top quality coaches and will bring tremendous experience to the development of this young squad."

Former Scotland international Lineen took over as Glasgow coach in 2006 and has led the side to sixth in the Magners League this season.

Ex-England boss Robinson joined Edinburgh last October and the capital club sit two places above Glasgow with two fixtures remaining this season.

Lineen and Robinson combined to lead the Scotland A team to victories against Ireland and Italy in February.

Forwards coach Graham and backs coach Tait have worked with Hadden since May 2005 and were given full-time posts in late 2006.

Hadden has come under pressure following a poor Six Nations campaign earlier this year, with Scotland winning just once in five matches.

However, Scottish Rugby chief executive Gordon McKie is backing Hadden.

He said: "Following a review of our RBS Six Nations performances and results, the board believe that Frank is still the best man to take the national team forward as head coach and build upon the overall progress that has been made in the last two and a half years or so.

"However, we also believe that our young squad is capable of making further progress with the injection of new coaching resource at this time."
